Breastmilk does not need to be frozen or kept cold.
Place 1–2 ounces of breastmilk in a Ziploc bag and seal tightly
Wrap the bag with tissue paper
Place it into another Ziploc bag and repeat this process three times total (triple-bagged for leak protection)
Place the wrapped bags into a padded envelope or small box
Ship via the United States Postal Service (USPS)
This method is safe, leak-proof, and USPS-approved for mailing liquids.
